Can anyone tell me the way to reset the OIL/SERVICE Warning message that comes up on the Right LCD Display?

I'm not sure how to do it on a Fabia, but it should be detailed in the manual which comes with the car...

Details of what to do are in the Owners's Manual in the Controls and Equipment - Instruments section. The Manual does warn that resetting the service interval display yourself may result in incorrect settings and thus possible faults in the vehicle. I assume that you have had a service done by a non-VAG dealer or have done one yourself to be enquiring about how to reset the display?

Assuming that the Octavia method works, this is what you need to do:

Switch off the igniution and press the reset knob of the trip counter below the speedometer and hold.

Switch on the ignition and release the reset knob. The message service or service now appears in the display.

Turn the knob for setting the clock to the right until the message is reset.

Bugger... :( I forgot to get my logbook out the car as I have the precise intructions needed written down... Must remember later on.

It IS in the manual, the inspection warning has appeared on my display, and I looked it up in the manual, have not had time to try it yet, but I will look and tell you what page it is on tomorrow :-)

(It is very similar , if not identical to the Octy process decribed earlier, but I will check)

I should say the manual service reset wasn't in my manual. I had to get a techie to PM me the details and I wrote them down for future reference.

All I know for sure is its a combination of ignition on and off, along with mileage reset button left & right.
