Temperature Housing Problems?

Featured Replies

I have posted in another thread on this forum that the dealer, (via Skoda), has indicated problems with my engine management warning light remaining on, (on my new octy vRS), is due to the temperature housing, (whatever that is! - sorry not very mechanically minded - I just drive!).

These units are currently out of stock, and Skoda UK have 80 on order from Israel, because of problems with those previoulsy manufactured in Germany, (per the dealership).

It sounds like a simple batch issue, but if this is the case, others are no doubt experiencing, (or may experience), similar problems. Errors generated all related to the coolant system, and replacing the coolant sensor did not resolve the issue. Just thought I would post this information in case it helps anyone else out.

I've had a new temperature housing last week - didn't fix the engine warning light problem... :(

Thanks for letting me know Rob. I take it the error message(s) being flagged related to the coolant system?

Two errors are being logged...one about heat on the left bank or something, and a temperate coolant sensor error. Already had the coolant sensor changed and the temperature housing, the next thing they suspect is a lambda probe...
