Bluetooth compatability

Featured Replies

I'm new to this forum, but couldn't find much chat about mobile phones that are compatable with the Octavia's Amunden bluetooth system.

I never realised what a minefield it all is!

My nokia has bluetooth, but is not compatable - so which phones are??? There does not seem to be anywhere that I can find this information.

The best Skoda can do is ask which phone I'm interested in and they can tell me if it's compatable. Fair enough, but researching phones takes quite some time and 'd rather have a list of what will work (and work fully not partially).

I know I want a nokia again, and a fairly straight forward one - so can anyone advise me which phones in the N600 range or similar will work fully. Very grateful in advance.

Surely any phone with Bluetooth will work?

Have you got the SE plus version.I think the SE plus bluetooth only supports Hands Free Protocol used by most of phones compared to rSAP by Nokia. The bluetooth box is fixed under driver seat. It can be clarified if you could tell the model of bluetooth box eg: starting with 5K0, 5N0, 7P0 etc.

Hi - yes it is an SE Plus - very impressed with it - except for mobiles info!

I'll check the box and get back when it's back (missus has got it).

Very grateful for your advice.

There does not appar to be a box under the seat.

I was advised by Skoda that it needs to be Firmware 07.60 spec on the mobile to work. And this changes with each phone - It's a nightmare! N

Just under the seat there is a lid which can be easily slided and removed. the bluetooth unit is under this. on the passenger side there is an empty space. the info is on the flat side of the box
