Vauxhall version of a Yeti

Featured Replies

In What Car, online, today they have announced that Vauxhall are going to launch their own version of a Yeti. This is not necessarily worth a thread on its own, after all most mfrs are looking to put out this type of car and Vauxhall has been consistently poor in the field before. However the difference was that What Car specifically mentioned the Yeti as the one to take on, not the all conquering Qashqai, Tiguan, CRV, Rav 4 etc. I think Skoda will be pretty pleased about that.

So what is the Vauxhall Antara then?

Apparently it will be smaller version than the Antara. Personally, I would agree with you that the Antara is their version but that, as far as I can tell, has failed so they are bringing this model in. Maybe if it does well then the Antara will quietly disappear from the range.

Quite good looking Korean built Chevrolet, but not very good to drive on or off road. Not very economical or reliable either.[allegedly].The opposite of a Yeti really....:smirk:

Have you driven one?

I'd get banned with what I thought of it, after I tried one!

No,never got even close to wanting to drive one.

I tried (twice) to drive one with appointments - both resulting in wasted trips to the dealership - first time no car or salesman, second time it was blocked in. Managed to extract a bunch of flowers our of the dealership when I wrote and complained. Then saw the reviews and gave up. So much happier with the Yeti.
