G60 Flywheel, VR6 Clutch Part numbers

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm after the above, I've got a 5speed PD100 polo and I'm after more power so need to change to a VR6 clutch and G60 flywheel, does anyone have the part numbers for the bits I need?

Thanks

Ok, the g60 flywheel is identical to the one fitted to a mk3 golf gti 16v with abf engine code, so it should be easy to find in a breakers yard. As far as I can remember they are no longer available from vw to buy new, but they still do recon ones on exchange.

The vr6 clutch kit is also exactly the same as the golf mk3 gti 16v too..

So effectively you could whet that clutch and flywheel from the same vehicle.

Hope this helps.

Edit; bloody iPad, should say get, not whet. :giggle:

I got my g60 flywheel from Skoda they give me a better deal altho i had to pay extra 30 quid because i didnt have an old one to exchange,

Ill find part numbers out if somebody doesnt beat me to it

To save you searching, £270 here for both

270 quid is outrageous tbh

heres a flywheel for fifty notes linky

and heres a clutch kit for 60 odd quid linky

just bought this setup to convert my 20v engine to single mass
