Has anyone succesfully fitted HEKO wind deflectors to there fabia?

I have bought a pair and they seem to be really tight (i know they should be tight), do i require filing the ends down abit?

You shouldn't have to mate, should just bend into place

Don't file them, warm them up before fitting and they'll bend easier they need to be tight , you may have issues with the leccy windows for a while but soon settle down ;)

Do they come with pipe and slippers?

Runs away.

What do wind deflectors do exactly?

Stop the helecopter sound when you drive fast? Or save fuel when your windows open full?

Do they interupt the styling of the car alot? I know alot of Japanese imports seem to have them installed.

They are tinted yes

I personally got them for looks haha

And I fitted the drivers one but when the window went up it ripped the seal slightly and snapped a piece off of the lip around the edge

Got any photos mate? :-)

Allow you to open the window a bit without getting soaked when its raining... Found mine on my Roomie useful sometimes, but have not bothered on the new car...
