Hi,

Found this forum quite a while ago when I was researching a mechanical problem on a Fabia. Have a shiny new Fabia VRS on order so thought that I'd come back and say hello.

Used to have an Octavia VRS (03 plate) which I relly liked. Looking forward to the new Fabia.

Test drove it last weekend and realised that 100bhp just is not enough (current car). Really looking forward to getting it except that eta for it is near Christmas and the forecast is for lots of snow!! 180ish bhp, big fat low profile tyres and snow just don't mix. I'm sure I'll manage somehow, might be a while till I can have a proper drive though.

Hopefully Skoda can bring the build date forward a bit.

Hello! With the Heat we are experiencing in these days in Italy (more than 30º) I decided to use the the aircon, as last Summer it was really wonderful BUT with my surprise it doesn’t work! I thought there was no gas in the tank but test said there was; I also put new from the beginning but nothing changed: Skoda mechanic told me he doesn’t hear the compressor starting. Thinking to the works I made on the car, I realized I replaced the climatronic panel with the one with heated seats and since

Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a

Hello, can anyone help! I have a kamiq and at 55,000 my car suddenly failed, teva burning smell and no power. Was told it needed a clutch replacement and brakes replacement. £2,500. I questioned this as I’ve been driving for 34 years and never burnt out a clutch. I was forced to pay. I had raised questions about the car having a fault. Was told it was driver error. Fast forward 8 weeks and my clutch failed again - the same burning smell. Garage are unbelievably wanting £1,500 to replace again!!
