I live in Southern Spain, so a trip to the UK for a re-map isn't really on!

There seems to be a serious lack of tuning outfits locally, so I am posing the following question -

What is the possibility of a "owner fit" tuning device being worth the money and can anyone recommend one? I have a four year old Fabia tdi 100 bhp PD Engine.

Would an AMD 1 click work IF-

The empty 1 click was sent & a map of the current ECU taken from the car & returned to AMD for 1 of theirs to be put on also.

The topped up 1 click sent back to the customer to apply the remap.

Would it be too expensive ?

Maybe Jabbasport could do the same with their standard map.

If all they needed was the ECU then would be well worth effort of having car out of action for a couple of days?

If you give them your ECU number they can pre-code it. Use a courier like UPS and you should get it in a couple of days
