Hi All - potential Octy vRS owner with questions!

Hello everyone,

My wife and I are planning on getting an Octavia vRS and I was wondering what the best deal we're likely to get for approx 10k will be?

It would have to be froma trader/dealer as we want to part ex. our Rover BRM.

Has anyone experienced any good offers from Skoda dealers?

Also are there any things, other than the usual, to look out for when buying an Octy? I know about the 1.8T's unfortunate coil pack problem but is there anything else specific to the Octy vRS?

apart from a few niggly dash rattles(mine are very slight).

creaking rear anti roll bar(previous owner had mine replaced under warranty)

can't think of any more,what a great car

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
