rally green touch up paints?

Featured Replies

noticed a stone chip and its annoying me. gutted on such a new car!

anyone know where to get an offical skoda touch up pen?

Dealers are your best bet for the official paint.

Don't use the brush wish comes with them though, get a cocktail stick, and lightly dab the paint in until you fill the stone chip hole.

I did this with around 30 or so stone chips on mine, the finish was as good as new again.

Hope this helps.

I just bought some Rallye Green touch up paint. I have two bottles. One is lacquer and the other paint. A noob question....should I put the paint on, wait an hour then put the lacquer on or mix them together and use the brush to put it on? Going to use a VERY fine brush.

Paint, 1hr, paint, 1hr, paint, 24hrs, lacquer :)

Build up the paint first, then lacquer on top

Cocktail stick FTW...you'll end up with too much paint if u use a brush IMHO

Unless you're good, and go for a small model painting brush. But the same thing applies; less is more!

where did you get yours?

Just noticed this on eBay, took me a while to find as "rallye" is spelt wrongly as "rally" instead.

Maybe this is of use? Quite cheap too :)

That's the stuff I have except I bought mine from Allams parts.

Cool :) is it good stuff? I hear applying with a toothpick is the way to go with it... and although mine is only 6 months old there are a couple of horrible chips on the bonnet :(

Seems good stuff. It's a very good colour match. I used a very fine paint brush and that did the job well. Second coat will go on tonight. Then 3rd and 4th then the lacquer. Plenty of paint and it's strong stuff :drunk:

After 17300 miles, mine has 2 gouges on the front emoticon-0106-crying.gif

Get your bodyshop mate to do it...

Had two on the front from a BMW

Filled with paint, left for a week to harden, scrape off excess with a blade, flat and polish. Done, can't even find where they were!
