I always thought the idea of having a DSG box was to have smooth almost imperceptible gear changes, not lumpy ones.

The DSG shift times are light years ahead of the manual -- DSG get's it 100% perfect, lightning quick, everytime, even the best race driver in a manual will only manage a DSG quality shift a few times out of every 10.

I'd say the manual car handles very slightly better. Weird because the only weight difference is about 40 kilos or so but i swear i can tell the difference even though it is very slight.
