I've noticed when taking a slow hairpin bend that the drivers seat creaks. I've a vague recollection of there being a thread on the VWVortex forum about this. Anything to worry about or less pies for me? :)

I couldn't find it on VWvortex or Skoda WRC either, but I seem to remember it was something to do with faulty welds. Doubtless one of the many RS owners will chirp up shortly with the answer.

BTW, be very careful about mentioning chickens on this site. They have friends reporting back on us.....

Yep there was a thread on the creaky seats.

It was brought on by faulty welds attaching the seat to the sub-frame. IIRC, several people had had it and the dealer had replaced them under warranty. Remember someone seeing the bill for the seats - approx
