Cleaning seats - best drying method

Featured Replies

Hello gents. I have done a search but can't seem to return anything specific enough to answer my question.

I've always used AG Interior Shampoo for interior cleaning of seats etc and find it to be very good and leaves a nice fresh scent, however one area that has caused problems in the past is actually lifting off the dirt. I have used soft brushes to agitate the fabric which lifts out the dirt, but I find that unless you lift out the dirty shampoo after, it just dries and leaves a stained mark! I suppose the best thing for this would be a Vax to just vaccum up the grime, but I don't have the money to go buying one!

Can anyone recommend the ideal product for this, or a technique that is better than a terry towel and elbow grease?

Thanks!

I used AG shampoo a few times it kind of worked but not great . I used a wet vac a George to be exact it worked a treat . As for drying the car I ran my engine with the heaters on full blast facing the floor far a few hours and left my windows down a tiny bit to let it air .

Please don't do this...running the engine in idle for long periods of time will damage it.

Do it for years with lots of cars never had a problem .
