My 4 steel wheels arrived today,everything look fine except the part number's don't match my spare wheel in the boot.

the spare wheel part no. 6Q0601 027B

New wheels part no. 6Q0601 027M

As you can see the M is the only difference.

are the wheels correct ?

the last bit of the code normally refers to the wheel finish, for example black or silver.

The code on you spare is the correct one according to the VAGCATS ETKA parts system (note it's in Russian);

yeh the following all match..6J X 15 H2 LE2 ET43 ES,it's just the part number.I'm 99% sure it's fine but want to be 100%.

If everything matches it will be fine,Skoda/vw probably just superseded the part number to a different one. If still unsure ring your dealer and ask if the first part number supercedes to the other one.

If all the relevant sizes (6J X 15 H2 LE2 ET43)are correct then what is the issue?

Part No.s have a different letter at the end when a part is superseded, this could be as simple as a different supplier, or a colour change etc. All that matters is that the wheel has a VAG stamp on it an the sizes are all the same and correct.

"6Q0601 027B is no longer available (from 01/03/2008). 6Q0601027M 03C it’s a direct replacement".

Jack car up and try a wheel on to see if it fits etc, without tyre fitted first.

I got them from here ,they're a dealer who have their own online parts shop.
