Condensation in light units

Featured Replies

My n/s DRL/Fog Light unit has condensation on the inside. Should I try to get it changed under warranty, or is there a DIY solution?

Cheers

Warranty mate.

It depends how bad it is, there is a note in the manual stating that condensation may build up in the fog lights.

This is because there is a breather pipe at the back of the unit, whilst it can let moisture out it can also let water in if it's been very wet by you recently.

A light mist is acceptable, if its running down the lens or sloshing about in the bottom something is not right.
