Good show by Fabias at Knockhill today.

Featured Replies

Today we had a VW, Seat, Audi & Skoda Track session at Knockhill great weather the Fabia ran well and didin't have to pull over to let anything past mind you didn't come up against the 540bhp RS4. I think some 225hp boys will be wondering tonight.

Was it that they just overtook , without having to pull over to let them past .

When you came up on a slower car they had to pull over, The main straight is uphill from the slowest corner hence the diesels advantage over the petrols

That was a fantastic day wasn't it!

Thats my first time on the track, totally different experience but great fun!! :D The Audi RS4 was something else, a total monster beast of a car, I moved over for it after the chicane, it was past me before I could even blink, tried to keep up with it for a lap....and I did!!!...but only because the yellow flag come out shortly afterwards :D Shame about that guys Seat Leon, but it looked as if he was all sorted at the end.

I'd definately do that again, well worth the money as well I would say. As a comparison I was at Knockhill last weekend on a Red Letters Day rally driving experience - the voucher cost

Should have started this in the "Scottish" section, The RS4 was a beast 140mph plus up the straight, sorry didn't get the chance to say hello Ross, there's talk of a tracknite during the summer see you there.

The Fabias did very well indeed, especially going uphill on the straight as you say, all that torque was working well - nice one!

The pro photographer was Graham Lamb from GKL, everyone got his card, but his website is here: http://www.gklphotography.co.uk/

Arrgh, didn't realise that was your car Robbie! Glad its all okay, when the yellow flag first come out and I seen you in the gravel it didnt look healthy - all that steam etc. Typical something like that would happen while at bend one at Knockhill - could have happened anywhere, which I suppose is a good thing as the gravel traps and controlled safe enviroment are alot better than the sketchy road on the way home from Knockhill!

I'd definately be up for a track night in the summer!!

I didnt get a chance to chat to many folk, who was who with the black Fabias? Who's is the one with the nice seat covers? I was looking for you at the end to find out where you got them.

I got the GKL photography card here, I was wondering if there was somewhere on the website you could see thumbnails from the day, then purchase full size versions of the ones you wanted? Or do we just contact Graham via email and describe our car. I want to see if you can see the smile on my face flying through the dip :D

Mine was the one with the small fronts, Big has the nice seats.

Did you get a chance to look at speed up straight, mine was pulling 115 before decided to slow a little for "Robs" corner

Contact Graham direct and he will sort you out with samples and then whatever you want from them.

Both videos over on Seat Enthusiasts are worth a watch.
