Some Dealers do have a heart

Featured Replies

So for months now we have been having issues with the EVAP purge valve, Roadside assitance has been out about 5 times the N80 valve was replaced but the EML still came on.

We booked it into Newmarket Skoda in Bannockburn we have had a few heated discussions before regarding issues on the car BUT after they diagnosed the charcoal canister was basically like mush after the previous owner had been obviously ramming the fuel in and going past that first click not something you should be doing be it petrol or diesel its there for a reason but we couldnt provide evidence it was the previous owners, Newmarket spoke to Skoda UK who have agreed to supply the part FREE and Newmarket are doing the labour free as a goodwill jesture as we have had so many problems with the car.

Top effort and credit were its due for Newmarket for putting our case forward and supporting it 100%,

Just need this clutch sorted now and the lights realigned but don't wanna be too greedy :giggle:

You have had a lot of bother with that car. Nice to see you get a result on this issue. Hope you get the clutch (was it the DMF?) sorted soon !

Good to hear that not all dealers are out to rob you!
