I've seen a few of you mention that Fabia 2's occasionally have central locking stop working and that this can be fixed with an ecu update at the local dealer? Apparently your dealer can also set the car to unlock everything with only one button press?

I'd love to get these changes done but my Fabia is an 08 and is now out of warranty, also I no longer live near the dealer I bought it from....any idea how much I can expect to pay the new local dealer for such a job?

Probably both done at your next service for free at the main dealers..If you live near someone with a bit of kit called a VAGCOM then they will be able to do the one blip locking for beer tokens!
