Got a 2010 FL VRS and one of the headlamps (halogen) has failed. Dash shows a bulb shaped warning light.

How easy is it to replace?

DIY, Halfords, Dealer or would Skoda Assist assist?

It's a doddle....

Undo the white nut on the back of the unit, pull the metal lever at the bottom of the light unit towards the centre of the car and the whole headlight unit slides out. Makes it a lot easier to get to the bulb.

Took me about 10 minutes to change both bulbs on mine... (swapped the standard bulbs for brighter bulbs)

if you do touch the glass, use a lint free cloth and some alcohol to wipe the glass with...........

I had a headlight out tonight to change the parking light around 15 mins in all.
