Help, am I being silly

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I have now had the new Yeti for 12 days and I cannot stop smiling  Everything is absolutely fantastic but I do have one query to do with the Columbus Sat Nav unit. As I was reading through the instructions I came across a section that shows you how you can set the audio source volume to decrease when the navigation announcements are spoken. This volume decrease can be set to Low, Medium or High and I have set mine to high which I imagined would cut out the Audi source almost completely while the Nav announcements are made. However, having tried out my settings it does not seem to be cutting out or decreasing the audio source at all. Once you have made your settings there does not seem to be a way to "save" them as you can only press on the go back button.

Does anyone have any experience of this setup and if so, am I doing things correctly. Currently this minor quibble is really annoying me!!!

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

You want it on low, which means the audio will be low as the announcements are made. The settings are saved automatically by selecting......

Whatever change you have made in the settings is automatically saved when you use the "go back to the previous screen" button on the touich screen or select something else with the real buttons on either side of the screen.
