Modified induction kit?

Featured Replies

Hi.

Been looking at the Carbonio cai and the evoms kit, but rather pricey for my liking.

Was wondering if anyone has modified a cheaper induction kit to allow a more direct route for better air flow.

I was looking at the Neuspeed P-flow kit and was thinking if it's possible to fabricate an air scoop/box (much like the evoms kit)

Or failing that is it just as beneficial to use the existing airbox with a better panel filter?

Just looking to get better air flow as I'm aiming to get my car to Stage 2 or stage 2+

I know it's probably opening a can of worms as Iv'e read on here that everyone has had different results from different kits, just looking for some honest un-bias feedback (if that's possible) :)

Cheers guys

Well i had a look into this before , previous posts on here. Went for the pipercross venom system. Got it at a good price from r-tech. Very happy with it , yet to upgrade and do either a stage 1 or 2 remap. Yet to decide. But apart from a small fitting hiccup ....very happy. Would say almost anything is better than the standard air warmer and panel filter. Just make sure any system you use has as little or no engine bay warm air entering. Cannot go wrong. They are many posts about this , do the research. Have fun
