Another Mini Adventure

Featured Replies

Mini Cooper tailgates Octy TDI on motorway.

Octy TDI accelerates.

Mini becomes spec in Octy's mirror.

THE END

Its not a secret that i hate new mini drivers, and yesterday i had my revenge for all those times when minis cut me up. On the m/way as i was overtaking at 80mph, a mini started tail gating me. i pulled into the slow lane and kept accelerating but only gradually. The mini being driven by a 19/20yr old chav who could hardly see over the steering wheel also kept accelerating and stayed in the fast lane. As i approached around 105-110 the mini was just off my rear door. This is when i floored it in 5th. The result, one very embarrassed chav and chavette (passenger). after reaching about 125 with the mini about 8 car lengths behind, i slowed down to 80mph and smiled as i let him eventually pass.

SWMBO even found it funny (she usually tells me off for doing 85mph+).

JD :D

maybe he drove close cos he likes the smell of carcenagenic exhuast emissions?

Had the same experience with a corsa GSi lastnight!

It's even more fun when you are driving a 'proper' rubbish car and are able to prevent a dangerous undertaking manoevre from succeeding by ensuring sufficient responsiveness towards leaving gaps ;)

aka - if the gap is not big enough and the git attempts to push in, don't and instead stick your line, possibly allowing a minor twitch towards such git to re-enforce the laws of physics into his/her head :D

Undertaking is not legal anyway, but I can understand it being used ;) - thing is, it's always a gamble and if the space isn't there once you've trashed past a bunch of traffic going nice and slow in the fast lane, and no-one leaves you enough space, than that's just tough ;)

I thought it was the benzene in unleaded fuel :P
