Can any of you guys out there confirm the correct method of checking the oil level on the 1.2 Htp 3 cylinder 51KW engine? My handbook (in french) states that the 47KW must be done when its warm, but doesnt mention the 51Kw version. Any thoughts folks?

12 htp when cold, rest when warm thats what it states in my hand book.

TOTAL CONFUSION AGAIN!, always seem to blow HOT and COLD

I would do a little test. Check when warm,say 30 minutes after a run. Don't add any oil,then check again when cold. Go with which ever gives you the higher reading. Personally I'd stick to a cold reading after,all how do you define warm ??
