If not I will probably get parts from GSF

I`m planning on doing the following mechanical bits which I will do every 12months or 6000 miles.

Oil and filter change Is the oil 5W30 or 10W40? Full synth or semi will change every 6k

Sump plug and washer

Change air filter

Spark plugs The cheaper Bosch ones

Plus………..

Check all wipers and levels

Greasing all hinges

Copper slip battery terminals

Drain down coolant system and refresh antifreeze

Strip out boot LH trim and inspect all wires and clean if required (had washer joint pop off)

What do you guys think and have I missed owt.

PS Belt and brake fluids are alreay done.

fuel filter & cabin filter if they havent been done for a while?

I got all my stuff from http://vwspares.co.uk/

get your stuff from Sere Motors, they sell genuine parts for less than motor factors oem stuff!!

And be sure to use the G12++ pink coolant - what color is it at the mo?

That kit is all good quality- just compare prices at GSF or Euro to check.

Mann filters are what GSF normally sell IIRC.

I would check GSF, Eurocarparts and TPS assuming they have a shop near you. With ECP don't forget the briskoda discount, if you order it online and collect you can use the discount (or any others you known of)

As everybody mentioned, most of the parts can be ordered online, using the BriSkoda discount code - and if you want you can opt for home delivery, or reserve and collect in your local store!

If you need any advise, feel free to drop us a PM
