4bar Revo'd Octy Fuel Consumption

Featured Replies

Had my vRS Revo'd last year and have been averaging about 28 - 30 mpg. Revo have been data logging my car to improve the slight hesiatation I have on part throttle, anyway after a days worth of logging and altering the map the car only hesitates very very slightly, very very occasionaly and is now unbelievebly smooth and to top it off it is averaging 37mpg . I have had it up to 42mpg and believe me I don't hang around. Am using optimax with millers octane booster and running timing 6 and boost 6. BTW Revo have been brilliant

Believe me m8 I do ;) .....brother in law has a standard octy vRS and I would say drives his less hard than mine and he don't hang about, he gets less mpg, recon my car is doing at least 25% more mpg than it did when it was standard. So the Revo will pay for itself in....errr ....32000 miles, that's less than 2 years...

What I only average 32-33 mpg in my Standard vRS (but then again I don't hang about :D )

Wow, i only get 19 mpg max in town{ London}, on a run i can get 33-35 mpg,

Still well happy with that :D

Steve

i tend to watch the speedo and the road with my revo,MPG is not something i worry about.hardly get to rive the car at the moment :(
