How/Where can I recover my VRS car seats???

Featured Replies

Hi

I've had my Black VRS for almost 1 year now (8000miles) and have tried my hardest to keep the seats clean but the light grey picks up the dirst so quickly. I have considered normal car seat covers but I would prefer to recover the seats properly, replacing the light grey with Black cloth.

Does anyone know if/how/where this can be done NEATLY/PERFECTLY so that the result looks like a factory fitting??? :)

Thanks a lot

Someone did a full leather retrim in a thread somewhere. It was an octavia though. It did look rather good.

Don't know about cloth though

Theres a place in Swanmore, Near Fareham Hampshire who do a lovely job!

They did my mates M3, took the centers out and replaced it with cream suede with M3 type logos on, only took them 2 days from start to finish. They remove the seats from the car and hand stich in whatever you require!

There is a thread somwhere, a Furby with leather interior, including door cards

as steve said do a search in the fabia section, it's been posted a few times now, though you wont get and change out of

Shaun Coates at L4Leather in Sheffield did my Furby for a grand (pics in my gallery). He's very flexible about styles and colours, so if you can run to it, I'd recommend him. He may still have my original covers, in which case he won't need to strip your car to get leather covers made.

And the leather is so much easier to keep clean. Its more comfy and a bit quieter too.

Get cow it's the best bet! If you can't afford it treat the seats with some sort of protective guard such as 'Guardsman' worked with ours and seems to keep all of the crap away.

There was a post about another place but no pictures were ever posted there, even though I asked about 4 times, and several others did too :(
