5 days in my life with a YETI

Featured Replies

Yes, I collected her last Tuesday... and she is stunning! A friend said I should call her CHESS as she was built by my Czech Mates :LOL:ROFL:

But no, she is SHILPA and will so remain. There are so many things to get used to - buttons everywhere which do all manner of things, and a thick handbook! I will steadily work through the bits I need to and the bits that interest me, but currently it's a lot of try and see. The panoramic roof certainly has the wow factor, so pleased I got it.

I will try to sort some photos but nothing will come close to Maffa's from me! I will post my impressions/findings when she is a little older! Interestingly when I told the salesman I had waited 31 weeks, he smiled and said for the model I have, it is now a 9 month wait! Guess it is a kind of 'birth'.

Finally, 2 things missing - I would love the needle swing and the large MPH in the maxidot... I gather this is done with vagcom?

Needle sweep & large mph yes done via VCDS.......see the diagnostics & VCDS section for help on that emoticon-0140-rofl.gif as that isn't Yeti specific....

Post Yeti photos in the Yeti owners photo thread, or risk them being moved!!!!

So which new button intrigues you the most Geja? :giggle:

I love my sunroof have to say. I will never ever get a car without an openable sunroof. Enjoy the beastie!

[Have to add section specific tags here: Yeti, Sasquatch, Snow man, SM, Monster, Snow, 4x4, Yeti (oops did that one already)]

Hi Graham

Sorry for not commenting earlier but glad that like me you are chuffed to bits.

Look forward to seeing pics

Been a bit hectic on here today!

Cheers

Peter

Enjoy! The sunroof is truly stunning. The vcds tweaks are easy to do, and just need to search the vcds owners list in that forum. If you are in the Edinburgh area then I can sort it for you otherwise there are folks all over the country that can help.
