Moving To A MKII

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Just a very quick question, and apologies if it's been covered a million times already.

With the new 2.0 PD 140 in the MKII, has the oil pump issue been sorted? I would assume so being 2008 onwards, but needed to check.

Is the CR 143 and CR 170 a safer bet? I would strongly consider having the DPF delete done by a reputable tuner in any of the three engines mentioned here.

Any advice and/or comments on the engines and the car in general greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Rob

Do a search, the MK2 Superb is a completely different lump (2.0) compared to the MK1.

MK1 Superb 2.0 TDi are best not even touched with a barge pole!

CR is a better all round bet tbh, the 2.0 PD is a ******ised 1.9 and a complete botch job.
