Has anyone removed their footrest?

Featured Replies

Got this to fit this weekend, bought off Ebay, and I've inserted the vRS colours. Is the footrest secured like the Mk1 Fabia a bolt at the top and a clip at the bottom??

It's amazing how Skoda customers actually think of these things yet Skoda themselves couldn't. Such a simple touch that adds the vRS flavour to the car. Good job

Looks good, how much was it ?

Cant help you on the clip thing. Sorry.

you can get then ready made with the vrs logo

as well from eBay.also seen ones with gti and blank too.but yeah they are a nice touch

Got it from here for £14.99. He supplies cups for the bolts, but I'm going to stainless domed bolts as they aren't so proud.

Plastic nut at the top and a curved clip (looks more like a hook) at the bottom which fits into a slot in the transmission tunnel. Easier to get off than back on !!.

Just realised how different is the footrest on mine in relation to the VRs

Hmm nice touch my fellow Stockportian.

I want to do this :D

Its a shame they pre-drilled the holes, might have just glued/double sided sticky taped on!
