Hi guys,

Just a quick post to say hello :hi:

The names Neil & I'm from sunny Basildon.

I'm currently driving a lightly modified 2003 Seat Leon Cupra but I'm looking to change now & I've decided I'm going to get an Octavia Vrs so thought best bet was sign up & start the reading up.

Hopefully I'll maybe even find a nice well looked after model in the for sale section

Anyway hope everyone is groovy & I'll see you on the boards.

Incidentally, my home network schema requires all connected equipment to be named as a Transfomer. Currently typing this on Megatron, or if I'm downstairs it might be Starscream or Jetfire

I owned a 2017 Superb Mk III and recently swapped to a Mk IV and love the car apart from one very dangerous fault. Occasionally, the car decides I’m about to hit something and slams on the brakes - so hard, that you think you have hit something! It has happened several times whilst manoeuvering at low speed in reverse which is somewhat disquieting. But it has also recently done it whilst driving forwards - in no way on any occasion was there a risk of collision with either stationary or mobile

My 2012 Citigo ASG vehicle has developed a new fault. After a few hundred metres driving the engine suddenly revs high (then drops) and does not change gear. The amber (not red) cog warning light is displayed in the rev counter area. I read that this could be one of several issues that a OBD2 diagnostic check will reveal. My local independent garage that I use has said it would be safe to drive it to them to run the checks but they are eight miles away and I'm reluctant to do so. I could conta

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
