New to this whole Skoda thing...

Featured Replies

Went to view a 2003 Octavia L&K TDi estate yesterday and couldn't resist the charms.

Moving from Honda to Skoda, anything in particular to watch out for? I'm used to having a car that just never, ever goes wrong. But I'm also used to having a car that drinks like George Best. :|

Anyhoo... pics coming soon... it's a 130bhp 6 speed model, so I'm happy with the specs- not too different from my current car (160bhp Type S).

Advice, welcomes, etc... all appreciated! :D

A big HELLO to ya

Chaaaaaaars.

Really looking forward to picking up the car on Saturday... not looking forward to putting my Civic back to standard as I've lost most of my modded parts in a house move... :(

Welcome I have recently traded my third octy L& K. Great cars and never had a problem other than one being crushed by an Elm Tree. Enjoy!

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hi

Iv'e just recently bought a 2008 140bhp Octavia estate L&K spec and I'm still grinning like a cheshire cat by how good it goes, having been driving a nissan x-trail for 5yrs it is a major step up in power and class. having fun trying to find all bits and bobs to finish it off nicely some proper mats and stuff, missing wheel nut covers and such like, let us know how you get on. bye for now

:hi: welcome to brisky!

Welcome

You will probably find the biggest problem with the car compared to the Honda is that the fuel gauge needle never seems to move emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Thanks for the welcomes- and yes, I'm loving how static the needle is. So far Octimus Prime is working out to be 30% more fuel efficient than the Civic!
