Felicia Diesel pump

Featured Replies

Hi all, Just pluged in the computer and found the following codes:

Address 41: Diesel Pump Labels: 028-906-125.LBL

Controller: 028 906 125 B

Component: Saugdiesel FIA V01

VCID: 1359743A727B

6 Faults Found:

01266 - Glow Plug Relay (J52)

31-10 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent

01269 - Commencement of Injection Valve (N108)

30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent

01052 - Load Signal Potentiometer (G157)

28-10 - Short to Plus - Intermittent

01204 - Engine Temperature Sensor (G27)

30-10 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent

01169 - Door Contact Switch Driver Side (F2)

29-00 - Short to Ground

01209 - Engine Speed Signal - Alternator Terminal W

03-00 - No Signal

car seems to run fine except that the Temp sensor needs replacing as the temp satys at 70 degrees when driving and the thermostat is working. I am puzzled by the alternator fauld and door contact as these are shown under Address 41: Diesel Pump.

Can anyone can shed any light on these faults?

Many thanks

looks like someone has been either pulling fuses or disconnecting multiplugs with the ign on mate, alt supplies the rpm signal which runs thru the pump ecu and the door switch is supposed to work the glowplugs when the door is opened to aid cold starting, (I've never actually seen one that has done this tho and I've seen a few..)I would clear them all and see of any come back within a week or so.

I wouldn't worry about any of those codes to be honest, as jimbo says above it's likely that something like fuses have been pulled or the vehicle has Ben jump started on a completely dead battery.. Intermittent faults will automatically erase themselves after 50 starts of the engine if the fault doesvnot recur.

Thanks for your replies. I had forgotten about the door and glow plug association. I have cleared all the fault codes from the system twice for them to reappear. I feel that there could be a poor connection somewhere in the system. I forgot to mention that the airbag is showingfault

00532 - Supply voltage B+

07-10 - Signal too low - Intermittent.

Would i be right in thinking that there could be a loose connection somewhere? I will inspect all the connectors for corrosion etc as there has obviouslt been a fault with previous owner due to pin holes in the wiring insulation from a circuit tester.

Again thanks for your help and advice.

Possibly a loose connection yes, or something else battery related.. Possibly the alternator voltage regulator has gone.
