Spare wheel size

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what size spare wheel fits an SE+? Obviously a 16" rim will fit (the standard wheels are 16"). Dealer has supplied a 15" spare after "loosing" the one for the car; will it fit over the brake callipers/discs?

Thanks!

15inch will fit but why accept that when it should be a 16inch? Make them fork out for the correct one i say.

x2! Don't give in, they're the ones that made the mistake!

Presumably this is an option you paid for on a new car, as Octy's don't come with spare wheels as standard. They should provide exactly what you have paid for.

+1! Why should you have the wrong one just because they lost the right one?

Bet they'd be unhappy if you gave them a cheque for less because you lost the original one ;):giggle:

Maybe this should be another name and shame one too!

(Maybe we should have a sticky for dealer experiences)

This has also happened to me, i negotiated a spare wheel which i got today, it was only when i got home that i noticed the tyre size was 195/65 R15 but my wheels are 205/55 R16, is it safe to run this if only for a short period? and like the OP said, will it fit?

I haven't had chance to speak to the dealer yet.
