Some advice please.

Would a set of 7.5J x 18 H2 ET46 Superb Alloy Wheels fit the Octy vRS 2008 model without any problems?

Nice one! Am I right in saying that if the ET was greater than 51, there could be complications?

Standard vRS wheels on the FL are 7.5Jx18 ET51, so the wheels you're looking at will just come out an extra 5mm into the arches. They should be fine :thumbup:
