octavia tdi 110 vs octavia 2 105 bhp estate

Featured Replies

hello i have a octavia tdi 110 bhp elegance and have the chance of a octavia 2 2007 1.9tdi 105bhp estate ambi model tho! is it worth changing or sticking with the old model? tdi 110 has 150k on it now and the mk 2 has 130k on clock! both FSH tho. thanks again!!

I've actually driven both back to back on the same roads, and would stand pat unless I needed the extra cabin space. I find the older car to be a better steer (handling and feel), and have more comfortable front seats.

thanks for that! i do like my mk 1 elegance estate and its had the tailgate done under warrenty. still drives great too. is there any rust issues with the later cars?

I currently own 2 mk2's (105bhp) and a mk1(110bhp), all Elegance spec. While the mk1 is a pretty good car the mk2 is leagues ahead in handling, grip, comfort and just everyday ease of use. I enjoy driving the mk1 from time to time but love getting back into my mk2! I find the seats in the mk2 much much more comfortable but maybe it depends on your own size/build (I'm 5'8" small build).
