Audio upgrade time

Featured Replies

Riiight! I'm an avid music fan and love a bit of sound quality. Sadly my two woofers in the door are crackling and making horrible noises :( I've disconnected one, and the other one is going the same way.

Does anyone know the size of the speakers in the Octavia? And is it a hard job to do?

Think there is a "How to" guide in the ICE section.

If the day comes when I have to replace mine then I will be going with this guide > Upgrade emoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gif

am interested in this thread, as i'm not that happy with the audio in mine. I've read some debate on whether the lack of quality is the responsibility of the head unit or the speakers, but am sure an upgrade of either will make some improvement

Mine has the large (double din?) unit with sat nav, so not sure how keen I would be to have to change this. Could probably manage a speaker upgrade thought

let us know how it goes

See the link that Vectra1 has added, that is how I replaced mine
