Newbie to Briskoda, about to get 2nd Skoda

Hello everyone,

Have only just registered on Briskoda although have had an Octavia Scout for some time. Am about to take delivery (December)of a Superb Estate 4x4. Just getting myself prepared to pick the brains of those more knowledgeable than I. Have no questions as yet, but anticipate having a few come December.

Which engine in the Superb have you gone for 1.8TSi, 2.0TDi or 3.6?

Which engine in the Superb have you gone for 1.8TSi, 2.0TDi or 3.6?

2.0 TDI with DSG. Pretty much the same as I have in the Scout I am driving now. Shame they don't do the Superb a bit higher off the ground. I would have gone for it, had they done so.

Hi all, Anyone else getting repeat Infotainment updates that don't appear to be installing, I'm getting this problem on my 2024 Superbs Infotainment unit nearly every day, when I look on the Information tab I can see the updates and when it says they're installed, and a prompt to say the installation will be active the next time the car is started, so all looks correct. But literally the next day I'll get another message on the screen to say updates are available and ready to install, and the sa

Hi guys. I tried to code lane assist for my 2019 SUPERB FL using Icar pro Vgate and car scanner pro. Lane assist is showing on dashboard and in the options but it doesn't work. The icon is yellow, car displays message that it is not currently available. What did I miss... A5 camera is 2Q0980653. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks! Maybe there is someone with Obd11 in Shrewsbury area wilkingvto help if car scanner can't perform this coding?

Hi all. I have a 2018 skoda superb estate, 2.0 tdi 150hp. Last month someone reversed into the front of my car and hit the radar unit. Then the Front Assist became unavailable. Car went to garage following insurance claim, Motofix in High Wycombe. Today the car came back but the same message was on the screen so it has gone back to the garage. A while ago, a car parked behind mine decided to spontaneously combust, melting my rear bumper and the outsides of the light clusters, plus scorching the hatchback. The light bulbs themselves weren't damaged and still worked, as did my aftermarket reversing sensor system, none of the wires were melted. I got a garage to replace the bumper, hatchback and light plastics, but I'm having a problem with the "faulty light" detector as, whenever I turn on the lights, the bulb symbol on the instrume
