Good news. Factory build week to dealer is usually around 6wks though isn't it? Typically.

So you might well see it this side of New Year.

Shouldn't be as long as 6 weeks factory to dealer.

Mine was just less than four I think which included a whole week sitting at the port awaiting a boat.

I'd be very surprised if you didn't see it before Christmas

The message from the dealer was "your car's being built". Going to sign stuff tomorrow so will know a little more then. Octavia vRS in a nice bright colour, with DSG, rear parking sensors and Xenons which, I believe, is the main cause of delay...but I could be wrong there.

If it's a TDi then the delay would have been the engine. If it's being built this week, I'd say it will be in the UK in 2-3 weeks and with dealer 5 days after it landing in the UK.

What bright colour did you go for?

Not red, or race blue, or black or grey or white. That only leaves one, doesn't it and you've got one on your forecourt too.

Got a blue one, so didn't fancy another, plus my local dealer (not the supplying dealer) has a fair few on their forecourt too.

For mine I was told week 20 of 2011 and it arrived the Thursday of that week!

I couldn't get my head round it either!!!

Next week I'm told. And because they've forked up the deal, I've got 2 years free servicing chucked in as well as some goodwill vouchers.

Wev'e got 2 on order for customers, looking forward to seeing what they look like in the flesh.

Seen a Yellow VRs Estate on our local roads a few weeks back.

Looked, erm, Interesting...! Certainly stood out against my Silver Superb Estate!
