Some of you may be aware that i have a peeling paint issue on the front bumper of my VRS. If not then you may be aware of general poor paint issues on the FL VRS particularly on the plastics. Stemming from a couple of comments on this thread: http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/213840-just-ordered-a-vrs-tdi-cr-any-issues/ I decided to pursue a claim and i thought i would update and sing some praise to the companies involved.

So to update, the VRS is going in on Monday evening for a couple of days to get the Bumper resprayed. No chasing and zero hassle. Trust Stourbridge chased me up to see if i had heard anything and then Shorade in Cannock have been in touch this week (tried a few times but have been away) to say all the paperwork had come through from Trust and wanted to get it booked in (presume they are quiet, calm before the wintery storm?!), so i have a Merc A160 for a couple of days which IAM Surety have insured for free as they do free courtesy car cover.

So thumbs up to Trust Skoda in Stourbridge, Shorade bodyshop in Cannock and IAM Surety Insurance for a totally hassle free and and refreshing experience. A lot of companies could learn a thing or two of these.

Makes a change to compliment a company (let alone 3 related to the same issue!) instead of the usual moans and groans that we are all guilty of (and rightly so!).
