No brake lights

Featured Replies

I have just notced the brake lights on my octavia are not working. I have checked the fuses and they are ok. there must be a switch that triggers them to work ?? does anybody know where it is. i had a look in the footwell but I could not see any wiring

Have a good look around the brake pedal assembly again. I am almost certain that the switch is operated by movement of that assembly.

I had the same problem, only found out when we had a meet and had 7 skoda's not knowing if i was braking or not! Took it to the dealer and they replaced the brake sensor thing that is connected to the brake pedal as DGW said. Got it on warranty.

It's bound to be the switch. Both of my Octy's had to have them replaced.
