A quick simple question regarding parking sensors. My new to me MY58 Octy has Sensors fitted in the rear bumper but yet I don't seem to have the bleeps. Is it possibe it is not fitted or is it faulty, how can I check this, also when I select reverse I get an audible warning sound but nothing else. Advice please. D15VRS.

get somebody to back you up as close to a solid object (insert wall here) as possible and see if itll beep then

infact if somebody covers a sensor with their hand will that work too? dont have them so cant test that out

Mine works if someone simple walks past while it is in reverse...

The sensor will show the segment on the screen split into 4 segments, and the beeps quicken when someone walkes past. (Or you reverse near an object, even a kerb) I dont think there is any way to switch off the beeping.

I supose it is possible to have the rear bumper with sensors, but not the electronics tied into the screen?

Maybe a faulty beeper ?
