Errr, things just dropped out of the lower dash?

Just took the lower drivers side dash off as the cubby hole air pipe wasn't on properly. These two metal things dropped out from somewhere and I have no idea where from or what they're for?!? Nothing seems obviously broken, but I have had the lower dash off a few times before and this never happened!

Ah. Could well be. The air lever did come off... they must have fallen somewhere kind of out of sight. I'll see if I can figure out how to get them back in, hopefully without taking the dash off again :)

Thanks! Will try and post pictures of how to fix if possible.
