Does anyone know how to adjust the handbrake on a Fabia vRS (2004)? Skoda are charging £45 to do this job!

Any instructions would be appreciated.

Done (from Haynes )by adjusting nut under centre console to get gap of 1 -1.5 mm between the caliper handbrake lever and end stop.apply handbrake 3 times and check for free movement when HB is off .(NB-handbrake adj nut is contoured to prevent movement and MUST be fully seated )

Would PM a copy of page ,but this laptop is slooooooow slow .

BUT if not certain ----get someone to do it ,who's qualified .

I adjusted my handbrake succesfully at the weekend. It's miles better now.
