Hello, I'm new here so I just thought I would introduce myself.

I currently drive a 2007 Honda Accord Tourer EX diesel which has been an excellent car. However the time has come to replace it and I am particularly taken with the Skoda Superb Elegance Estate. I would really like the diesel version but unfortunately Skoda only do the no-vat deal on the petrol one and the list price of the diesel is a bit high for me. So I've got to look at my options to finance it including looking at places like Drive-The-Deal etc.

There will probably be a few questions I will be asking in these forums regarding optional extras and things.

Hi all, Working today on a friends 2001 Octavia. Problem was the accelerator stopped working, there is no response at all when the accelerator is pressed no revs etc and EPC light on. He updated he has had a new throttle body sensor and accelerator pedal unit fitted but this made no change. The car starts and is good condition for the age. SO I scanned it with VCDS Lite full prog and re set the throttle (unit 060 on vcds) so its correct, We also replaced the accelerator

Hi! Octavia vRS TDI 2015 - For a while I've been experiencing constant DPF regens - the idle tick over constantly sits at 1K with the radiator fans running for a while after the ignition is turned off. I drive motorway miles daily so it's not a symptom of short trips although on longer 2 trip ~2hrs the Particle Filter warning will appear but clears after ignition reset. I've noticed the regens are having a massive impact on fuel economy (only managing ~350 miles on a full tank when previously

In 2022-2023 I had problems downloading the updates fro my Skoda Kamiq and eventually it had to go in to the dealers to be brought up to date - a four or five job on the computer. Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a

I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!
