Service Interval

Featured Replies

Hi, got a 1.4tdi 08 fabia sport. Looking at doing 4th service which is due in a few hundred miles myself. Gonna do all the filters and oil etc. Is there anything else major that should be done at this service, had the brake fluid done last year. Also, the main reason of this post is can you reset the Service Interval spanner icon that appears when the car is started or is this a dealer job. Cheers Steve

In the Fabia 1 there is a line in the manual about resetting the service indicator, not sure if the 2 has the same sort of thing though.

So it does, didn't even think to look in there thought they would want ya to spend ya well earned bucks on getting that done. Nice one Skoda. For information, it is in the Fabia II owners manual in your black wallet. It is on page 12. It reads.

1) Switch off the ignition, press the reset button of the trip counter for distance driven and hold it down.

2) Switch the ignition on and release the reset button. Now turn the reset button to the right. The service interval display is reset.

Voila.

Thanks for that gjlb.
