Undo the screws underneath and pull out - watch for the power cable going to the glovebox light... you'll need to unclip it!

this is it in a mk5 golf so i think i can hide it in the secret bit

As well as the two clips at the bottom left and right of the box, there's also three more inside the lip of it too, fold door down and there across the top there.
