Hi - I have just joined after many happy years with my Octavia. Although it wasn't always mine it came to me when my wife changed her car to an Insignia but then changed to a 407 then a Ford but still I have stuck with my Octavia even though I have been offered all of them.

All has been well for nearly 90k miles until my wife moved the seat and the airbag light came on - not doing anything about that as I think it just needs reset after seat was moved from years of my comfy position - dam her other cars for breaking down!

Unfortunately the engine management light has just come on for no reason - is there a common reason for this and is it an easy fix?

Any help greatly appreciated

By the way already starting to think about my next Octavia - the facelifted MkII I think
