The wifes car is now showing a spanner, but all servicing has been done. It never gets done on the mark but things are on going. Question is can I take the spanner off with press this, press that. Or has it got to be vagcom job.

i watched my mechanic removed the spanner after it's service yesterday without it

my spanner came on back in june but wasn't due til this month... they probably just forgot to reset it after the last service!

A. Switch off ignition

B. Press and hold in the trip button

C. Switch on ignition

D. Wait aprox 10 seconds, until ------- appears

E. Switch off ignition

F. Release trip button

G. Switch on ignition

Tis should clear your service light/spanner
