Retrofit Variable Boot Floor

Featured Replies

Just a quick one from me today, is it possible to retrofit the variable boot floor on the pre-FL Octavia vRS? If it is I'm guessing I'd lose the spare wheel. Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

Still have spare wheel doesn't effect that. Look on the skoda accessories page for further details (though its currently not working). As far as I know there is no changed to the boot space between pre and FL mk2 octavia.

There are 4 hooks where you screw the vertical side boards with plastic screws, then the cover board fits on top of them. I took mine off as it takes quiet some space when I travel, but it's good if you don't load the boot with too much as it sits flush with the boot lip.

Well, as I was in Skoda picking up my car after they'd fixed my headlights I thought I'd ask about the cost of this. Something like £225 including VAT for just the parts. Needless to say, I told them to leave it for now! lol! Not just because of the money, but also because I don't even know what it looks like! Has anyone got any photo's they could share? My brother has it in his 3-series and it's awesome, so I'm just kinda hoping the Skoda one is the same quality!

Ah thanks buddy! After seeing some of those, I don't think I'm going to go for it in the end. It just looks too out of place IMO! Will look into getting the net set instead :)

Yeah a bit of a cheap looking, does the job around town, but not if you're fully loaded.
