I am changing the cruise control arm on my skoda suberb its a 2007 elegance

but can anyone explaine how to take off the steering wheel please ?

i know there is an airbag and that i must disconnect the battery first

Briefly:

Disconnect battery. Wait about 5 minutes. Straighten your wheels. Turn steering wheel 90 degrees left. Insert small screwdriver and push it towards the steering column to release the airbag clip. Do the same for the other side. Take airbag off and disconnect airbag wiring. Remove 12spline bolt from steering wheel and remove it. My superb had already from factory the alignment stripe on the wheel, to align it for reassembling. Then there are 4 screws you need to remove (quite deep inside plastic).
